As the Race to Nigeria Masters toughens, players fight tooth and nail to retain their positions on the board.
In Round 3, the tenacious J. Ibrahim played 4 bogeys and 4 birdies with which he was able to achieve an even score of 72.
"Though I started a bit slow I'm excited to be able to maintain my position" Ibrahim said when caught in a media chat with 9ja golf.

With 10 points behind Ibrahim is U. Anoruo who successfully maintained second place on the leaderboard with a better play than day 2. He played 3 bogeys and 3 birdies to attain a round score of 74. The resilient player intent on reclaiming his spot on Day 3 is optimistic about tomorrows game.

"It's not over until it's over" Anoruo smiling after the game, glad to have done better than his previous game he said.
