6th leg race to Nigeria masters: L. Onjefu Wins Race to the Nigeria Masters for the first time.

The consistent player pulled through all threat to maintain his place from the first day to the finals and make a distinctive cut!.

It’s the final round of the 6th Leg to the Race to Nigeria Masters, players finally competed but only one was able to make a cut.
 

With a cumulative of 294 with +6 after 72 holes; L. Onjefu maintained his position from day one to the finals on the Leaderboard. His game play in the final round started with a par, birdie in 2nd & 7th hole, bogey in 3rd hole and the rest of the holes in the front nine being par to make 36. With a par in hole 10th, 17th, 18th, bogey in 11th, 12th, 13th hole and birdie in 14th, 15th & 16th hole saw him coming in with 37, finishing the round with 1 over par (73).

In second place is another optimistic golfer; J. Moses whose game ended with the cumulative of 305 with +17 after 72 holes. His game play in the final round earned him 7 over par (79).

 

In a media chat, the player seem amazed yet happy of his game despite not making a cut. Quite interesting how he rose from fifth place to being the second position on the leaderboard.
