2nd leg race to Nigeria masters: U. Anoruo and G. Inalegwu Ties in Third day of the tournament

With 33°C, 9 players continue to battle for the 2nd Leg of the Race to Nigeria Master after the tournament disappointed most players yesterday.

The game has gotten more competitive as two players tie with a cumulative of 218. Still topping the leaderboard is U. Anoruo who played four birdies and three bogeys to round off with a 1 over (73). Anuoro who expressed excitement over this feat is  sure of bringing his A-game in the final round tomorrow.

"I figured it wouldn’t be quite as easy as the first 2 days, it’s just not how the game of golf works, but I wasn’t planning on making bogeys but definitely wasn’t expecting it to be so tough”, said Anoruo in a chat with the africantour correspondent.

G. Inalegwu's game was quite impressive as he fired six birdies in one-under par 71 to match up with Anoruo. In a chat with africantour correspondent the player says he's pumped about tomorrows final game and hopes to replicate the strength he brought to today's game.

  L. Onjefu who started the day in second place, 5 shots behind G. Inalegwu and U. Anoruo with the cumulative of 223 over-par total 216.

​

 The beautiful game of Golf builds resilience, courage and drive. We have witnessed that today as players in the round three of the Race to Nigeria Masters have fought valiantly to get back on track from yesterday.
