3rd leg race to Nigeria masters: J. Alex takes to lead in day 3 of the tournament with

Prior to the yesterday’s match being the toughest opening matches in a while and leaving the players disappointed about their performances, the ever zealous player J. Alex who was hopeful about hitting the green eventually did.

Leading the board with 1 over par (73) is J. Alex. He started his round with a par, birdies on hole 2nd, 3rd, 4th, then a bogey on 5th hole and eventually finishes the first 9 with a par to make 38. With a bogey on 10th, 12th, 13th and 16th saw him coming in with under 36, finishing the round with +1 (73).

“I’m very excited that I am able to maintain the lead after a poor game yesterday and am hopeful that the remaining days to the end of the tournament will be more better” said, Alex in a media chat.

​

Coming close with 3 over par (75) is D. Ali maintaining his position on the leaderboard.

​

It’s quite an interesting yet a challenging tournament but nonetheless, I look forward to coming victorious at the end of the tournament.

​

The rest of the players are still battling to make it to the top of the leaderboard, all players have done their best, we hope that they can make it to +12. It’s the Race to the Nigeria Masters, anything is possible!
