14th leg race to Nigeria masters: U. Anoruo races to top in day 3 of the tournament.
It’s the 3rd day of the Race to Nigeria master 14th Leg and 5 players still competing to make the cut and get the trophy.
Prior to yesterday’s match having G. Inalegwu playing distinctively to get U. Anoruo behind him on the board, Anoruo zealously took up the challenge and got himself back to the top of the leaderboard.

With 2 over par 74 in the third round, U. Anoruo becomes the first on the leaderboard. His game comprises of 9 par, 5 bogey and 4 birdie and with the cumulative score of 220, he sits 2 strokes ahead of his closest contender.
​
In an interview with the africantour correspondent, the golfer expressed great excitement about his performance and hopes to make the cut eventually.
Coming in second place is G. Inalegwu who played 6 over par 76 in first round, 3 under par 69 in second round which earned him the leadership of the board but faulted in the third round to be the 2nd person on the board after he shot 5 over 77. He rounded up with a cumulative score of 222 after 54 holes.

“I didn’t expect that the game will be this bad but I’m excited I didn’t fall too far and I hope that the final round will be good enough to get me the cut”, Inalegwu said in a media chat.
There is a huge anticipation on who finally gets the trophy by making the cut, stay tuned as each players battle their way through the final round.
