The second day of the race to the Nigeria masters leg 14 seems to be tough as players compete aggressively to stay top on the leaderboard, this has left U. Anoruo in second place giving way for Inalegwu to go top on the board.

It’s surprisingly how the resilient player G. Inalegwu who started the round yesterday with a little bit of confidence came on strong in day 2 to take the lead. His game had a combination of 11 pars, 5 birdies and 2 bogeys, he had 35 in his front 9 and 34 in his back nine, finishing his round with 3 under (69).

Remaining in second place is U. Anoruo who although did well in today’s round but not good enough to stop his contenders from overtaking him, His game had a combination of 9 pars, 5 birdies, 1 double bogeys and 3 bogeys, which saw him finishing with an Even par (72)

“It was a fierce one today but I tried to maintain my cool, I am hopeful I will bounce back to top”. Anoruo said reassuringly to the Africantour correspondent

Other players are willing to battle it out to subdue the course and take the lead, you can only find out the tales of their victory if you stay tuned.
