It’s the 11th Leg of the Race to Nigeria Masters still in the lovely city of Owerri; 7 players currently struggling with the soul aim of humbling the Arsenal Golf Course.

Topping the leaderboard with 1 over par (73) is L. Onjefu. The consistent golfer played 11 par, 4 bogey and 3 birdie to make 1 over par (73). His ability of maintaining majority of the holes as a par in this round saw him coming in as the first on the leaderboard.

In a media chat with the africantour correspondent, the player expressed great excitement and optimism and further said that he will put in his all in subsequent rounds to make sure he wins the Leg.

Coming in second place with 2 scores difference is U. Anoruo. He played 3 over par (75) despite making a birdie in hole 1st, 3rd, 8th & 18th, bogey in 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th, 15th & 16th hole and the remaining holes being a par; well, that’s how unpredictable the game of golf is.

“Am not really happy with my today’s round but tomorrow we go hard on the course”, Anoruo said in a media chat.

What becomes the fate of the remaining golfers!, you can only find out by staying connected as we feed your curiosity all through the tournament.
