Christopher Ambe Eyes 7th Title as he extends lead in Road To Nigerian Masters

Christopher Ambe chased a Tuesday 6-under 66 with a Saturday 71 1-under Par, entering final round of the 2021 Road to Nigeria Masters Leg-8 holding a whooping 11 strokes lead.

 

 

The Minna based professional, who entered the tournament off a win at the 7th leg of the series, moved to 3-under after 54holes following a round highlighted by four bogeys and five straight birdies which helped him extend his leading margin.

 

 

Christopher Ambe's golfing career, is one that is characterized by  hard work in all ramifications. so when it’s going his way, as it is now! He just needs to enjoy it.

 

 

Remaining in second place heading into the final round of the tournament is Jimoh Ibrahim who faltered in the third round after posting a 4-over 76, with a cumulative score of 8-over par 224.

 

 

 

With a 74 of his own, Amateur player John Alex  was alone in third place after the third round on 14 over par, one ahead of Warri  based Samuel Otubor who posted a 78 also and a cumulative score of 15 over par heading into the final round.

 

"Though today wasn't that smooth for me out there but I managed to remain calm and told myself whatever the outcome may be I'd take it like that" Alex told 9jagolf.com.ng in a chat.

 

Christopher now eyes an 8th title on the African tour this season and seams to be unstoppable..........
